Bethany Ward is dual faculty serving in both the Rolfing and Rolf Movement Integration departments.
She is past president of the Ida P. Rolf Research Foundation and was involved in the early stages of the International Fascia Research Congress and Fascia Research Society. Bethany currently serves on the Rolf Institute's Regional Faculty Oversight Committee and Faculty Development and Review Board.
Combining degrees in psychology and business with decades of Rolfing experience, Bethany brings a fresh perspective to somatic education. She excels at making complex ideas understandable, relevant, and accessible to a wide variety of learning styles,

Bethany co-authored the first Rolfing textbook, which is currenty used in the initial unit of the Basic Rolfing Certification. The Rolfing® Skillful Touch Handbook, published in 2022 by the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute®, is a foundational resource for manual therapists focusing on myofascial techniques and structural integration. It provides detailed, illustrated techniques for improving body alignment, reducing pain, and enhancing mobility.
Bethany’s articles have been published in the Structural Integration Journal, the International Association of Structural Integration Yearbook, Massage Magazine, and Endurance Magazine, among others.
